Crafting fashion with responsibility.
problem
The founder was making handwoven bags using discarded textiles.
The product was meaningful — the brand identity wasn’t.
They needed a visual system that felt premium, intentional, and aligned with the craftsmanship of the product.
insights
Consumers value sustainability, but they buy emotion and aesthetics.
Bunav’s competitive edge was the intimacy of handcrafted rarity as much as zero waste.
One bag. One story. Never repeated.
solution
I designed a brand identity that communicates handwoven rarity and quiet luxury.
The system blends craft with minimalism, celebrating handwoven fabric.
Bunav, meaning to weave in devnagiri, is a brand that uses traditional weaving technique to make bags from textiles. Originated from Ahmedabad, India - the city of textiles, it gives discarded factory textiles a second life. They transform them into modern, one-of-a-kind bags. What once sat as waste becomes meaningful through slow craftsmanship, intentional design, and a belief that style and sustainability can coexist.
